Here are two, similar lapel pins from the 1932 presidential campaign showing jugate, silhouette images of the democrat candidates, Franklin D. Roosevelt and John Nance Garner. Each is made of brass or bronze and are about one inch across each way. But he left example is at least twenty times more easily found than the right example. In fact, they are so similar that many collectors overlook their differences. But those who are "in the know" realize that that right-hand example was designed by the man who carved out Mount Rushmore; nonother than Gutzon Borglum! It even has his name on it which we tried to capture with the camera (albeit poorly) and it is laid out differently with a more artistic (we think) and chiseled look to it, as if chunked right out of stone. Did you notice this before? The right one even has "A New Day A New Deal" campaign slogan on it. That left one was made by the famous Green Duck Company out of Chicago, and the right one was made in New York City by the Medallic Art Company. These are in nice condition but please look at our images to decide this for yourself so that you can be happy with your purchase. Shipping will be $5.85 carefully packed with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we don't. We just issue a refund for any overpayment. 9203/4
