This Fourth of July weekend, I had the honor of joining Fox & Friends First to break down one of the most defining political moments of the year. As the host of Wake Up America and the founder of the 4Liberty Network, getting to bring our perspective to a national Fox News audience was a milestone, and the conversation dug straight into the issues that matter most to freedom-loving Americans.

The segment started with President Trump’s speech marking America’s 250th birthday. He declared that the nation is entering a new Golden Age, called America a nation of winners, and did not mince words about the alternative, saying flatly that communism is a loser and always will be. He drew a hard line between the American system and the communist system, arguing that the communist model has never worked and never will.

When Carly and Todd asked whether I share the president’s concern about the rise of socialism, my answer was an immediate yes. I told them this was one of the great American speeches of my lifetime. It reminded me of 1964 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, when Barry Goldwater looked out over the convention and said that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. There was no tacking to the mushy middle here. This was pure Trump at his best, not reading the polls but telling the country exactly what he believes. That kind of clear anti-communist message is exactly what voters in small towns like Jefferson City, Missouri, want to hear.

We then turned to whether the socialist surge is an isolated trend or something bigger. I made the case that it is very real and growing fast. Democratic Socialist candidates have been winning their primaries in states like California, New York, Colorado, and Maine. If you want to understand how radical this wing has become, you only need to read their own words. The National Democratic Socialist Alliance, whose candidates just swept those primaries, put out a statement blaming NATO for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. They told Washington not to sanction Putin and called for the United States to pull out of NATO entirely, then doubled down even after the tanks rolled in.

So the next time someone in the media claims the right is soft on Russia, it is worth remembering who actually wrote Putin’s wish list. It was not the man standing at Mount Rushmore. This is the fastest growing faction in the Democratic Party, and anyone who has studied Marxism knows exactly what these ideas represent. I was glad to hear the president calling it out, and I believe it is time for the rest of us to organize against it.

The conversation closed on NATO, with the president heading to Turkey for the NATO summit. My take is simple. Europe is finally paying for its own neighborhood. NATO is pledging roughly 80 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine this year, and that is their border and their bill, not ours. This is the deal we were always promised and exactly what Trump campaigned on. Dwight Eisenhower, the man who built NATO, once called our troops there a temporary expedient back in 1951, a stopgap while Europe rebuilt. Now, 75 years later, Trump is the first president with the nerve to actually collect on that bill.

Moments like this are exactly why we built the 4Liberty Network. Being invited to break down these stories on a national stage shows how far we have come and how much our voice is resonating. If you missed the segment, watch the full clip and hear the analysis for yourself. Then stick with us, because the best is yet to come. Keep waking up America, and let’s keep growing this movement together.
