1896 Wm. Jennings Bryan THE AMERICAN POLICY 16/1 Presidential Candidate Pinback --- Missing the round wire/metal pin insert (I assume it would have been a loop that snapped under the outer back edges). Measures 7/8" across. Pin promotes the free coinage of silver, a policy advocated by Bryan. As you can see there is no reference to a presidential campaign or Bryan but this is associated with his political career. The button is dented and uneven.
