A large cast iron profile campaign plaque of Whig party candidate Winfield Scott for the 1852 US Presidential election, with decorative floral border. Although unsigned, these plaques were probably produced by Chase Brothers & Co. The plaque is in very good overall condition, with great patina, minor surface scuffs, and light rust overall. A wire has been added for display purposes. Dimensions: 12” H x 10” W, actual.
