Robert Kennedy was assassinated in the kitchen area of the Los Angeles Ambassador Hotel on the night he won the June 4, 1968 California Democratic Presidential Primary. After having just finished his speech and, while exiting the hotel, he was shot. He died early in the morning of June 6. Bobby may have been on the way towards the White House if Sirhan Sirhan hadn't killed him- who's actually still alive in a California jail. This 3.5" cello mirror was produced as a campaign piece which obviously had to be taken out of circulation after RFK's death. It was then offered in commemorative, cardboard boxed sets that included a campaign pennant, a cello keychain and a couple of other items.
