Very rare and scarce. There are 4 sample ballots to vote for candidates pledged to Senator Eugene McCarthy in 1968 when he ran for the Democratic Party nomination in the upcoming election as an anti Vietnam war. One ballot is clean unmarked by written notes. The other 3 ballots are written on. There is one I assume for the state of North Carolina where you can see the number of votes pledged to Senator Robert Kennedy ( initial K) and to vice president Hubert Humphrey ( initial H) who ultimately secured the nomination. These come from at the time a young Democratic operative who later became a prestigious author and professor at the Oberlin college. Please refer to the photos:
