This is a set of four political buttons promoting Senator Barry Goldwater for US President in the 1964 race AND one button promoting the 2008 publication of a book titled “Pure Goldwater” by John Dean and Barry M. Goldwater, Jr.The first button has the words “I’ll Back Barry” and his face in white against a blue background. The button measures approx. 1.75” in diameter and is in fine condition, no flaws, no rust on the back. It has the Union ‘bug’.The second button has the words “Goldwater for President” in white letters against a blue border, and the words “Victory Over Communism” in red letters against a white background. The button measures approx. 1-1/8” in diameter and is in fine condition, no flaws, no rust on back. (Goldwater was militantly anti-communism) It has the Union ‘bug’.The third button has the words “Goldwater for President” in black letters on gold background. It measures approx. 1.25” in diameter and is in Very Good condition; the front is perfect, the pin is bent and the back is tarnished. It has the Union ‘bug’.The fourth button has the words “Goldwater For” in black letters on gold, and the word “President” in gold letters on black. It measures approx. 1.25” in diameter and is in fine condition, no flaws, no rust on the back. No Union ‘bug’ is visible, but the manufacturer name and address is along the edge. The last button has the words “In Your Heart You Know He’s Right” in white letters against red, his face and the word “Read” in blue against a white background, and the words “Pure Goldwater” in white letters against a blue background. It measures approx. 2.25” in diameter and is in fine condition, no flaws, no rust on back.
