Original 1908 Thomas L. Hisgen presidential campaign button measuring approximately 7/8 inch in diameter. Early celluloid over paper construction with straight pin back. Hisgen was the Independence Party candidate in the 1908 presidential election. Smaller 7/8 inch format, significantly scarcer than the standard 1.25 inch size. Condition shows heavy age-related wear including staining, rim separation, and rust to reverse. Structurally intact. Please review photos carefully. Scarce early 20th century third-party presidential campaign item.
