I have for sale an 1896 presidential campaign item for William McKinley & Garret Hobart. McKinley defeated William J. Bryan in that election to become our 25th president. The white cloth is 18 by 18 inches and it was folded for several years causing heavy creases. At the needle point corner it has a glue mark from a price sticker and a couple more tiny spots. The needle point reads Mc KINLEY - AND - HOBART. It has two crossed flags. On one flag it reads SOUND MONEY and the other reads PROTECTION. The P is not complete in the word Protection.
