Here's a pair of 2.75" x 4 3/8" paper trade cards from the 1884 presidential election. It shows the republican candidates, James Blaine and John Logan while advertising an Altoona, Pennsylvania merchant named J. Ross Mateer. They were sellers of "sundries" and a promoter of the various medicines that McLane's marketed, with testimonials of actual, living customers printed on the backs. The histories of McLane's deceased customers were not printed. Anywhere. These are in nice condition but please enlarge our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase.
